Ideal Position:
I am interested in a position that allows me to be part of a team effort to reach, educate, and excite constituencies about new services and products, or raises general awareness about a company that differentiates it from competitors. I like taking complex information and translating it into exciting and memorable messages for wider audiences.

I am very interested in working with nice people and, if a full-time job, in an environment that values life-work balance. I place a high value on work environments that cultivate and support professional growth and care about quality of office life. I also like getting things out the door and like fellow creatives with the same drive.

Past Experience:
I am award-winning copywriter, for web and print, with 10 years of experience with communications to special constituencies. I am expert as well at successfully pitching stories to magazine editors, with articles in the diverse mainstream publications with national distribution. Colleagues have nominated me for service awards. I value being helpful.

Currently:
Most recently I was the lead writer and project manager on a $3.5 million, 5-year project proposal submitted to the US Department of Education (the results are still pending). This process took two months, nights and weekends, and I was responsible for the writing, review scheduling, and intense organizing.
