Ideal Position:
I am looking for a position as a Technical Editor in a Publishing group. It doesn't matter if it's a large or small company. Ideally, the position would be in the South Bay (San Jose area), as I have child care issues that prevent me from doing a long commute after 5:00PM.

The ideal environment would be a company that is moving forward with technology and has a lot of creative people and fast-paced Publishing department.

Past Experience:
In the past I have worked in Publishing groups as a Copy Editor, Graphic Illustrator and Senior Technical Editor. I have many years of experience in all areas of publishing.

Currently:
Currently I am a technical editor and project manager. I edit reports, do page layout, word processing, template conversions, etc. and create schedules, project budgets, post files online and work with publishing vendors and technical staff under tight deadlines. I also create and track information in databases.
