Ideal Position:
As corny as it may sound, I love being a part of and/or leading a team of marketing professionals, with each contributing their part to solve challenges and increase sales. I am results-oriented and focus-driven. I would love the opportunity to become a part of a marketing machine directly responsible for driving new business and increasing sales. I feel I am adaptable to most any setting... from a corporate structure with layers of responsibility and departments to a more "lean" environment where the "marketing guy" wears many hats (copywriter, media buyer, account executive.) I tend to gravitate to a more corporate environment as my passion for team-building and consensus-building burns.
Past Experience:
I have been involved in leading marketing departments in both the retail shopping and live entertainment arenas. In addition, I've owned and operated an advertising agency/public relations firm for over 10 years. I've enjoyed the challenges brought to us by clients and have been fortunate to have a number of success stories.
Currently:
We were charged with the responsibility of heightening awareness and positioning a local brand of a real estate office. We set a budget, mapped out an effective media and advertising plan, implemented a public relations program and were fortunate to create a "brand within a brand" for our client. I'm a loyal, hard-working, results-driven manager. I expect 100% from my teammates and will give them the same in return. I believe in "living on the edge" when the situation calls for it and I'm not dissuaded by setbacks. In fact, I am challenged by them, and find ways to work smarter and more effectively to meet the challenge or reach the goal.
