Paladin Chicago Candidate
Senior Creative (Print and Interactive) with Corporate and Agency Experience
Available For:
Long-term Contracting, Temp-to-perm, Direct Hire, or Consulting.
Ideal Position:
My ideal opportunity would be to provide creative, clever, and cost effective designs as a leader of a creative team. I'd like to work at developing brands, both well-known companies and brand new names, and help develop creative that pulls in sales as well as awards. I prefer to manage vendors myself, as well as attend my own press-checks.
I prefer a faster-paced work environment. I'm equally happy to work in-house as I am to work in an agency. I'm happiest in relaxed professional attire. While I'd prefer working alongside creative-minded people, I'm more concerned that the people I work beside enjoy their job and believe in what they produce.
Past Experience:
I've been a senior creative, working in-house at a major food manufacturer for their advertising, packaging, and e-commerce solutions; an art director at a small agency and lead-creative on their largest account, creating ads, collateral and show materials for a world-renowned brand; and a creative consultant in the alt-culture entertainment world.
I have experience in everything from food service and credit to comic books and fashion. I pride myself in fulfilling my own production needs and in recent years have managed traffic, budgets, and client expectations myself. I'm looking to apply these skills by leading a design team, preferably working for entertainment or lifestyle clients.
Currently:
I am involved in-house as the Senior Creative for a very major credit company, producing all print advertisements, collateral, and email campaigns for their products & services. Also, I create designs for their interactive work (such as a UI for their partnership with eBay). Even with a constricting market, we've seen 14% growth over last year.
