Ideal Position:
My ideal opportunity or position would be one that fully utilizes my experience and challenges me on a daily basis. I'm a strong believer that you can always learn something new and I'm constantly looking to anything that inspires me. I still want to be involved in print design but I'm also interested in web design. My ideal work environment would be an atmosphere that is conducive to creativity. I need to be an integral member of the team and I love working with other passionate individuals. I'm easy to get along with, extremely hard working and my work ethic is unwavering.
Past Experience:
My past experiences in print design have taught me so much about myself as a designer. I've learned from colleagues and believe collaboration is the key to success in this business. I started out working at a local newspaper in southern New Jersey, learned invaluable skills at my first ad agency in Baltimore and continue to use that experience in New York City.
Currently:
While working at my last company, I was responsible for providing art direction, managing freelancers and designers, ensuring multiple projects were consistent to brand guidelines and handling the daily workload of print pieces. My team could always rely on me for concepting, preparing flawless layouts and helping out whenever possible.
