Print Production/Graphic Arts Manager with Corporate Experience

Ideal Position:
I have 30 years experience in design, print production, packaging, project management, procurement and supervision. For the past 19 years, I worked for a company in the shipping industry, and took an early buyout in February of 2007. I've been actively seeking since then to find the right position. I am a dedicated worker.

My goal is to obtain a senior staff or consultant position with a progressive company that will enable my knowledge, creativity and expertise to be utilized to its greatest potential without discrimination based on age and length of experience.

Past Experience:
My experience encompasses coordinating production between editorial staff, internal and external customers, internal and external designers and vendors for commercial graphic arts related projects. I have been responsible for documentation, estimating, and maintaining cost controls including distribution and direct mail (RFP's & RFQ's, contracts). I played a key role in helping develop databases for job tracking.

Currently:
At my previous company I was responsible for all branded packaging, letters, poly bags, and boxes. I was responsible for vendor contracts, minority business, etc. By competitive bidding and awards I was able to save the company $1.2 million annually.

I was awarded a Buyer of the Year Award for Manufacturing in 2006 for State of Georgia. I am a member of Who's Who, and have won awards for Graphic Excellence.
