Paladin New York Candidate
Graphic Designer
Available For:
All types of positions
Ideal Position:
My ideal opportunity or position would be to work in a boutique design firm or agency that focuses heavily on identity and branding design.
Ideal Environment:
I would prefer to work with a small group of designers and copywriters, whose goal is to produce work that is creative and visually appealing. I would like to work in an environment that is more of a boutique design studio, rather than a large corporate office. A relaxed dress code is important, along with a lounge area for brainstorming.
Past Experience:
Since graduating from The Art Institute of Philadelphia in 2007, I was employed as a designer at a Horsham, PA-based video production firm. After leaving that job, I spent over a year freelancing for several of my own clients until I was hired as a full-time designer at the Philadelphia-based public relations firm, Jack Horner Communications Inc.
Currently:
Since August 2009, I have been a full-time designer at Jack Horner Communications Inc., a Philadelphia-based public relations firm. My responsibilities include designing identity systems, print ads and in-store signage, as well as preparing files for print and managing the production of all printed pieces.
Additional Notes:
I am an excellent communicator, multi-tasker, and supervisor. My writing and editing abilities are outstanding, especially when I raise the level of the writing and customize it to fit the target audience and the vehicle. I have a passion for what I do, enjoy working on teams, as well as autonomously, and relish the implementation of a great idea.
