Ideal Position:
My ideal work situation would include high involvement on various levels of the organization. The most important aspects of the position would be that it fosters creative expression and maintains an environment that not only supports it's staff but fosters growth and experimentation. The work environment is the most important aspect of any job. Ideally, I would like to be part of a small diverse group of people with various talents and backgrounds. It is important that there is respect and equality as ideally, we would rise and fall together as a team, and that people are able to fully express and accomplish their career goals.
Past Experience:
My prior experience with arts organizations including galleries, museums, non-profits and graphic design firms have awarded a vast amount of knowledge. I have enjoyed the multifaceted nature of working with intimate teams to accomplish marketing goals as well as public relations and development initiatives.
Currently:
Working with two interrelated organizations, a gallery and design firm I wore many hats. I worked as a commercial photographer, created video blogs and web/print marketing materials, and headed the communications department. I enjoyed the multifaceted nature of this position and the fact that I was able to contribute on many creative levels.
