Medical Writer with Corporate and Not-for-profit Experience

Ideal Position:
I am seeking work as a Medical Writer in areas of medical education such as CE. I desire to work part-time from home (remotely). I live in Gresham, Oregon, and cannot relocate at this time. My ideal environment is interesting, innovative and creative. I desire to write for a medical audience, changing somewhat "dry" information into a product that is engaging and challenging.

Past Experience:
I have 25 years experience in Dentistry as a provider of services. I also have experience with a major healthcare corporation writing protocols, clinical research trial documentation, and accreditation documentation for a national audience. Most recently, I worked for a major healthcare education conglomerate writing medical CE.

I have excellent computer skills in Word, Advanced Excel, and Powerpoint. I am a published author of a children's book, and have received awards for outstanding writing. I also have a consummate knowledge of dentistry and many medical disciplines.

Currently:
Most recently I authored medical CE courses for nurses, creating informative, innovative, and interesting text and "test your knowledge" exercises, which I greatly enjoyed. I worked remotely from home and supplied storyboards for a national audience.
