Media/Account Director with Corporate, Not-for-profit and Agency Experience

Ideal Position:
My ideal opportunity is with an in-house or advertising agency working in marketing, media or client service in a senior level management position. I have a tremendous amount of experience working with many varied accounts.
I can work in any environment and I bring with me a Midwestern work ethic. I am a team player who realizes that everyone has a contribution to make. Ideally, I would like a situation where I can learn, but contribute all of my expertise in new business, account service, media and grassroots/event marketing.
Past Experience:
In my over 15 years as Chief Media and Account Strategist at a media agency, I directed marketing, public relations, advertising, event planning, media planning/buying, non-traditional campaigns and grassroots marketing. Prior to 1991 I held positions as Vice President of Media Services, and as Media and Research Director.
I am able to relocate anywhere in the U.S., Canada or internationally, and travel as needed.
Currently:
Most recently, I increased sales by 30% and garnered over $1.2 million of PR in one year for a major shoe retailer. I created a local marketing approach to all locations with integrated creative, media, promotions and grassroots marketing plans. I also created event-driven promotions with community relations programs for each location.
