I am interested in an in-house or agency environment where I can utilize my expertise in media relations, writing and project management. My background enables me to easily change, with experience that includes health/wellness, hospitality, food/confections, technology, gaming and youth marketing. I also have interest in the aerospace sector.

Past Experience:
As a member of award-winning account teams at PR agencies, I developed strategic communications programs. I also worked as an on-air reporter/producer/anchor at TV stations in the Pacific Northwest.
Currently:
I am working as a writer/media consultant for a small youth-oriented start-up company that has national franchise potential. Together we have developed a strategic national/local media relations campaign that includes social marketing. I am also working on PR projects for Sony Electronics and the U.S. headquarters of plush toy company.
Additional:
My background as a journalist and PR practitioner provides me with inside knowledge of how the media thinks and works. I'm able to use this knowledge to generate media results that exceed client expectations.
