A writing or editorial position that utilizes my years of writing experience covering entertainment, travel, culture, etc. as well as my project management experience and ability to strategize, problem solve and create public relations campaigns and proposals.
Ideal Environment:
People who are focused more on excellent work than adhering to a strict corporate framework, who appreciate someone who is a dedicated, self starter and can work independently as well as part of a team. A magazine or newspaper setting or publishing or corporate setting all interest me.
Past Experience:
I've written web site copy, brochure and newsletters, video scripts, by-liners, case studies and proposals. I served as a Communications Specialist (editor of employee and physicians newsletters) for a major hospital.
Currently:
I have written press releases and case studies for a major international interior design firm, specializing in the hospitality industry (headquartered in Santa Monica). I interviewed the CEO and founder and wrote the materials that were than distributed to their target media, featured on their web site.
Additional:
As someone who has a background in agency PR and journalism and corporate communications, I bring a strong skill package to the companies (and the projects) that I’m assigned. I know how to work with academics, physicians, CEO's and physicians to translate their communications vehicles to their targeted audiences.
