Ideal Position:
I thrive on design and creative challenges and believe in the power of brainstorming. I'm a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of person because I never want a great idea to suffer for the execution. And while I have worked in several corporate situations (and happily will again) I do prefer the imaginative and "eccentric" moments in a creative agency.
Ideal Environment:
When it comes to the work I am very serious (I'm all about accountability) but I truly thrive in a friendly and sometimes playful environment. I like working with young people, sharing what I know and really getting them to think. I'm a positive, devoted and tenacious force and seek to inspire that spirit in those around me.
Past Experience:
I find it hard to believe all that I have done and experienced in the last twenty years. I really have done it all - print ads, commercials, radio, outdoor, internet, packaging and identity. Major brands and small brands, consumer and B2B, in NY, Chicago and LA - they've all been important I have always sought original and memorable approaches.
Currently:
I'm Creative Directing several wine brands and a tequila start-up. I handle everything from identity to campaign dynamics and execution. I'm also directing the final stages of a social networking site that will provide original artistic community aspects. The people I am working for have been trusting my delivery for over 10 years.
Additional Notes:
On the side, I photograph rockers on the Sunset Strip. For kicks, I cook and play violin. On weekends, I volunteer at a program that reads to kids. Occasionally, I volunteer to art direct and do the EPK still photography on my friends' Indy movies.
