K. H. | Paladin Los Angeles Candidate
Chief Creative Officer
Available For:
Direct Hire.
Ideal Position:
I take great satisfaction in solving complex marketing and communications challenges. Being in front of the client for the initial pitch, the subsequent creative briefing and, ultimately, the presentation of creative has always been satisfying for me. A position that utilized me in this combination of roles would be very satisfying.
Ideal Environment:
My company offices within the New York area were built in Revolutionary War vintage town home. It was a great place to be and a reflection of my personality. Regardless of the setting, I would really prefer a culture where laughter is a big part of the creative process. Good whit, in my mind, is at the basis of most brilliant solutions.
Past Experience:
In my past job, I gathered unique insight about corporate life. Just 4 years out of college, I was promoted to lead a department of 30. That experience permitted me to confidently form my own agency.
I have competed on the highest levels for business in entertainment, consumer electronics, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals.
Currently:
The most satisfying project I have recently worked on was a national grassroots program to educate victims of Sickle Cell Anemia. In addition to media, we managed a ground force and community leaders to reach out to patients. The results of the program demonstrated measurable increases in prescriptions targeted at treating the disease.
Additional:
One absolute truth one of my past professors at the School of Visual Arts shared was this. He said, "Don't ever blame a poor solution on the client. They know more about their business and customers than you could ever hope to. If your #1 idea was shot down, never go back with your #2 idea."
This is how I work.
