Internal Communications Manager

Ideal Position:
I am looking for an internal communications position working with/counseling senior management to drive business strategy and increase employee engagement. I am also interested in change management communications.

I am adaptable to all environments, but enjoy the interaction of a team concept either on-site or virtual, that allows for an exchange of ideas and best practices.

Past Experience:
I have been an internal communication professional for over seven years at Fortune 500 companies (Financial Services and IT organizations, business process transformation, ERP implementation and merger integration). I have an extensive track record of working with/counseling senior-level executives and taking ownership of communication activities.

I was responsible for all internal communication of the IO leadership team at a major IT consulting firm. I was content owner for the internal web page and knowledge management site, and the single point of contact for communication for leadership teams and global campaign and program leads, increasing employee engagement metrics 9% since 2006.

Currently:
In my most recent role of Strategic Communications Coordinator for a restaurant chain, I designed, wrote and distributed internal print and electronic communication materials to field operators, franchisees and Restaurant Support Center employees. I was also responsible for crisis communications.
