Ideal Position:
I am considering a shift to political communications to merge my expertise with my long-held passion for politics, government and public service. Working for a consultant firm, agency, elected official, or cause-related organization in the political arena would be great. I am also open to a communications leadership position at a stable, ethical company/agency.
My ideal work environment is a keenly mission-focused business or organization where hard work is rewarded and passion for constant improvement is respected, but where camaraderie and fun flourish as a strength for the team and work can be balanced with other priorities.
Past Experience:
I have ten years of PR, marketing & advertising agency experience managing client accounts and projects spanning the full spectrum of integrated marketing communications. Additionally, I spent four years working at large corporations where I was primarily focused on employee communications and media relations. The scope of my work has ranged from global to local neighborhoods.
My distinctively comprehensive set of integrated communications/marketing skills and experience in most industries uniquely enable me to create and implement customized strategic communications solutions that influence internal and external audiences and achieve results.
Currently:
Most recently, I was Director of Corporate Communications for North America for an in-flight services company, where I led all internal and external communications for 50+ locations and 8,000 employees across the U.S., plus international coordination with global communications team in Germany. I worked as part of the executive leadership team, elevated employee communications, and managed crises.
