Ideal Position:
My ideal situation would be as a Sr. Designer/Sr. creative professional. I love brainstorming, developing design, creating user experiences as well as providing insight into the power of creativity. I love to mentor and share my experience with all levels of staff.
Ideal Environment:
I appreciate working in most creative atmospheres (even if it is a tiny oasis in a more corporate workspace). The most important aspect for me is that design be deemed an important solution and is clearly understood by all senior partners. I am hoping to find a culture that consists of intelligence, fun and collaboration.
Past Experience:
I have been doing branding, design and communications for over 24 yrs. I have worked in most sectors and understand how to effectively reach the many stakeholders each company/brand touches. I also have a firm understanding of how to manage a creative group or business. In addition to art directing, I can also execute the design of most projects.
Currently:
Most recently I was a VP/Creative Director at a PR Agency & worked across consumer, financial and healthcare sectors. I managed a staff of 6 designers. I worked at this company for over eleven years and increased the revenue stream by $750K/yr. An internal audit also showed that my group saved the agency $750K/yr. by providing internal design.
Additional:
I have enough experience to be either the zany creative guru or the structured creative professional as needed. My projects have been in many languages and I have done just about every type of project imagined. In addition, I am good working with vendors and enjoy working with jr. staff.
