Graphic Designer/Creative Services Manager with Corporate and Agency Experience

Ideal Position:
My ideal position would allow me to be creative and provide valuable input to a team and/or projects. I enjoy working as a leader or as a team member, and thrive on collaboration. I love Creative Suite. Whether it's designing logos, making typography jump off the page, or simply altering a photo in Photoshop, I find fun in all things creative.
My ideal environment would be one of a positive nature: an environment where everyone thrives on the successes of the company, and wants to see the company do well, not just their own projects. I have worked in places where everyone was just there to do their job. There was no sense of ownership, and that takes the energy out of what you are doing.
Past Experience:
My past positions have all been very different, which has allowed me a lot of great experience. I went from computer based training courses to gift cards to actual product design to promotional products. I have designed T-shirts, catalogs, logos, brochures, 2D animations for the web, direct mail, rubber stamps...just about anything you can imagine.
Currently:
In my most recent role, I was the Manager of Creative Services at a Promotional Products company. I managed an Art Team to provide solutions for both our clients and ourselves. We took an agency approach. Not only did we set up artwork for promotional products, but supplied logo design, print collateral and other branding pieces to our clients.
I have been fortunate enough to work in several industries in Graphic Design, which has given me the necessary experience that I need to thrive in a new position. I am a very hard worker and a quick learner, and I hope that the right job will give me the opportunity to prove that I am the perfect candidate.
