Ideal Position:
My ideal opportunity would be designing for a small to mid-sized ad agency. I enjoy shooting my own photography for projects, so an agency in need of an artist that can both design and shoot would be great. I have experience with team settings, as well as working alone - and I enjoy them both. My ideal working environment is one that allows me to take on the full scope of any project I work on. I like being involved in all aspects of design, from concept to press.

Past Experience:
I have over seven years experience in publishing in the Dallas area. I've held positions ranging from production artist to graphic designer, art director, photographer and photo retoucher. I like to be fully involved in each project I take on, so I do extensive research on my own before the creative process begins.

Currently:
My last position was Art Director of Specialty Publications for a publishing company in Dallas. I traveled the U.S. shooting covers for four publications while art directing and supervising three designers on various projects. I also designed advertising and editorial pages for each magazine, two of which I fully designed.

I'm an extremely efficient designer that works very fast, and thinks on the fly. I'm highly detail- oriented - consistency and accuracy are very important to me. I approach every project as a portfolio piece, so the quality of my design continually improves.
