Graphic Designer with Corporate and Not-for-Profit Experience

Ideal Position:
I am looking for a position that puts my skills and abilities to use for the benefit of the company, as well as one that challenges me to learn more and push myself in areas that I may be lacking.

I have worked in both larger companies (350+) and smaller ones (15) both in a more professional environment and a casual one. I feel comfortable working in either setting.

Past Experience:
Most of my previous positions have involved corporate design and management of the identity. I have created datasheets, tradeshow graphics, direct mail, assisted in the design of web pages, CD duplication and packaging, PowerPoint presentations, promotional items and logo design.

Currently:
My current role is working for a non-profit organization where I design monthly ads for a local community newspaper, design invitations to events, and do the logistics and setup of the events. I also design quarterly newsletters and direct mail pieces.

My software and internet skills include QuarkXpress, Adobe Creative Suite (CS2), Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. I am comfortable working on either a PC or Mac platform.
