Ideal Position:
My ideal opportunity would be an entry-level design/copywriting position where I can pour my energy into my work, possibly growing into a senior designer/art director/copywriter post in a few years. I'd love to be involved with the brainstorming process to actually designing the piece, and giving the client a product they can be proud of.

My ideal work environment is working with bright, creative folks where people work hard and know how to kick back, where learning from various cultures is valued, where people are willing to pass on their "lessons" to a newbie. Mainly, I am looking for a place where people are valued and encouraged.

Past Experience:
I worked in social services for over 3 years and then switched fields and went into design, as that was what drew me the most. I have been freelancing since 2005 and my projects have included logos, brochures, in-store graphics and more.

Currently:
My most recent project was for a packaged foods company, where I did 3 "looks" for their retail chip stands in the store. I created fresh ad concepts to advertise their sustainability efforts and rendered those on POP stands.

I am fluent in Hindi and English, and have a very "visual-sensitive eye," meaning that wherever I travel, I am quick to pick up and appreciate the visual/graphic environments. I am very well traveled and come with a strong drive and a stomach for silly jokes.
