Ideal Position:
I believe that I'm the ideal Candidate for a company that wishes to explore and maximize the profit centers created by new interactive media. My ideal opportunity is as part of a team than utilizes proven technology to accomplish its goals in an effective and timely manner, and is always on the lookout for the better mouse trap.
I can handle one project at the time without feeling bored, or I can work on multiple projects at once without breaking a sweat. I maintain my focus under pressure. I'm not a stranger to long hours and 7 day work weeks. I follow the chain of command without reservation.
Past Experience:
I have had many unique and educational experiences within the industry, from the foot soldier ranks cutting and pasting line art to directing large projects. I find myself to be no more than a story teller looking for a voice. I eventually settled in with interactive media as a designer, acquiring top of the line coding skills.
As a Navy medical technician, I learned many important lessons, and two have stayed with me over the years:
1. I usually surprise myself by achieving beyond what I thought was my limit;
2. I use triage to approach problem solving: first take care or the easy stuff, then tackle the big problems with full focus.
Currently:
My most recent project was to redesign the website for a visual effects company. I was recommended to help because their new Flash-based website was not working after six months of development. I recommend that the site be completely recreated. I was told, "Do it as long as it is finished in 72 hours.” So, I recreated the entire site in three days.
