Ideal Position:
I am looking for a position that combines my broad business knowledge, project and client management skills. I enjoy taking the lead on delivering solutions for clients and to be involved in all aspects of the project life cycle; diagnosing the client's needs, managing project teams, and generating solutions by leveraging my team's experience.
A "flat" corporate setting focused on client service and innovation is where I can do the most good and give the best performance with/to my team; somewhere where there is no traditional enforced 'way' to do things. An autonomous, client-facing self-starter role allows me to contribute the most value and success to a company; the less known, the better.
Both for my team and for my managers I believe in the saying: "You can tell me what to do or how to do it, but you can't tell me both." I believe innovative projects require reactive, thoughtful process and leadership and I have groomed myself with those experiences to achieve the successes I have today. I'm very eager to qualify myself further.
Past Experience:
I have an entrepreneurial background and intentionally chose diverse opportunities in print, video, interactive media, and enterprise web installations to ensure I had solid knowledge in all. I enjoyed the inevitable project fluidity found in all of them and succeeded in managing team and client expectations to deliver a great, effective solution.
Currently:
I am acting as the project manager for a publicly-accessible site that will consolidate a variety of pieces online and ultimately position the client team in a more effective, consultant role. I had a tremendous amount of success at managing numerous demanding client teams and a complicated, innovative project on an incredibly aggressive schedule.
