Editorial Designer/Art Director with Corporate and Agency Experience

Ideal Position:
I would like a mid- to senior-level designer position in editorial, a corporate setting, or at an agency; otherwise, an associate art director role would be great. I would like to continue designing and take on some managerial duties.

I am comfortable in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Quark. I have no problem preparing images for the web. I would like to stay in print but am definitely open to other mediums of media and design.

Past Experience:
I am currently a designer for publications in New York City and have been working exclusively in publications for the past few years but previous to that have worked in design studios, public relation firms, and ad agencies.

Currently:
I currently pitch ideas for photo shoots and illustrations for the two different magazines I design for, in teams and meetings with the respective Editors in Chief. I design features, departments, and cover stories. From concept through execution, I am very comfortable with my responsibilities for a magazine with 2.8 million in circulation.
