Ideal Position:
I would like to manage the editorial group for a prominent publication, be it about sports, entertainment, news, or culture. In this position, I would plan each issue and contribute articles (a 2-for-1 deal). Working for a book publisher would be another choice because I like working with talented people. I'm an editor, it's that simple.

My ideal environment is any where I can lead a team of highly talented writers and editors, and make key decisions about publications in print and on the Web.

Past Experience:
I've worked as an editor for more than 20 years, and the variety of publications I've produced has kept me in this field. In Tokyo and in Charlotte, NC, I've worked with many kinds of publications, primarily financial, but I've dealt with lots of other texts.

I'm an editor, qualified to lead a team of people with talents similar to my own. I can hire, train, lead by example, and produce whatever clients demand (and I've already built three teams, one in Tokyo and two in Charlotte at the largest banks).

Currently:
At present, I am the only editor for a company in Japan that specializes in investor relations related translations (annual reports, corporate brochures, corporate responsibility reports and so on).
