Director of Marketing with Corporate and Agency Experience

Ideal Position:
My ideal position would be in a startup environment or new marketing group within a smaller corporation in the high tech or software industries. My preferable company size would be less than $50 million.

I would like to work in a fast-paced, smaller corporate environment where I both manage the group and projects and also participate in hands-on marcom activity, particularly writing and design.

Past Experience:
Past titles have included Director of Marketing, Online Marketing Manager, and Director of Global Marketing.

My specialty is lead generation and sales collateral development. I work well with sales teams to eliminate any bumps in the sales pipeline and sales cycle. I also have expertise in leveraging a brand and increasing image/awareness, or building a new brand from scratch.

Currently:
My most recent position involved business development for a startup ad agency that split off from its $.5 billion dollar parent company. I assembled a marketing project team and quickly created direct response marketing programs to build a sales pipeline. In conjunction with that effort I also created a marketing communications library, and a tradeshow strategy.

I am a seasoned and very driven marketing professional with a good balance of creative and analytical skills. I possess great strategic vision, yet am skilled enough to be hands-on, and I am very ROI-focused with my marketing budget. I am also easy to get along with, so I work well with others in a team setting.
