Ideal Position:
I am seeking a Senior-Level Video, Rich Media and 3D Animation Position. I would consider Associate Creative Director Positions in Cross-Media Strategic Campaign Work (Print/Interactive/Media). Ideally, to work in a team setting with people with bright ideas. Upon reflection, I've enjoyed agency work the most, over the past 9 out of 13 years.
Ideal Environment:
An awesome team-setting, with a happy and optimistic outlook spread across the collective. I have seen lots of frowns on faces and unhappy places in the past 36 months. I say get happy and get moving. And, never say the word "no" to opportunities, regardless of scope. I learned that from William Shatner, who is awesome.
Past Experience:
Advertising Agencies have been where I've spent the most time since 1998. It ranged from a large agency setting with huge clients, to a boutique agency with great clients. Both were great and the best experience, regarding agency work, was the freedom to approach work smartly. Rote tasks, and regurgitating archived work is lame. Keep it fresh.
Current:
I would like to mention the client, but I can't in open forum due to a client-disclosure agreement. But Paladin has the name. The project was to develop a mixed-media App Launch video, for a Corporate Presentation, and on a very tight budget. Upon review, the client's response, in a word, was "Amazing" and they have chosen to grow it in scope.
