Ideal Position:
I love to help make sales happen. This includes leading efforts with CRM programming, special events, sales collateral, persuasive content... whatever it takes! I'm also passionate about managing communication programs aimed at key stakeholder groups, including the media, employees, strategic partners, business alliances, and the community.
Ideal Environment:
I played on a state championship softball team in high school, and from this experience I took away the rewards of serving on a winning team. When called on, I can lead. At other times, I am a solid contributing team member. My ideal environment is on collaborative team that wins by achieving the overall goals and mission of the organization.
Past Experience:
I have excelled in my previous positions by understanding the media and making it easy for reporters and editors to write about the organization I represent. In addition, I earned a reputation as the "go to" person for superb writing and editing. Last but not least, I always apply the best practices of integrated marketing and communications.
Currently:
As an account manager I submitted my client for the prestigious Fort Worth IMPACT award, which recognizes companies that have introduced innovative, ground-breaking new technology. My client was named as a finalist in the environmental category...and won. Next we plan to pursue the elite Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation Award.
Additional Notes:
I'm a technically savvy communicator. I have advised organizations on how to use Social Media in the context of their overall marketing communications plans (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, BlogSpot. Other digital tools I use are GoDaddy, Yahoo Users Groups, Constant Contact, Vision CRM, and Microsoft Publisher.
