Ideal Position:
It's nice to have an opportunity to describe my "ideal" job opportunity, which would most likely be in corporate America in a well-run, large print department where everyone works well together as a team. I would perhaps like to expand my work experience to include web. I can also work from home or for a small company with an established brand.
Ideal Environment:
My strengths are my speed, my ability to work well with people, and my ability to read and understand copy so that I can use it for maximum effectiveness. I have a great eye for type and am very meticulous. My ideal environment would be a place where I could use these strengths in a nice environment where I would be able to enjoy my work.
Past Experience:
I have extensive design experience creating print collateral for corporate America. I use type well and create content-oriented pieces within a corporate look. I do design and production, and always enjoy working under talented art directors. I concept within brand, flesh out art director design to other pieces, and release clean files to print.
Currently:
My most recent role was as a freelance designer/production artist at corporate headquarters for a huge local company where I worked on print collateral and print material for major national events they sponsored. I am a seasoned print graphic/production artist and offer you excellent experience and speed.
Additional:
I am a very professional employee, and have always been well regarded by both managers and peers. When I freelanced at a large, local retailer they had a saying "1=2," meaning that one good employee was worth two not-so-good employees. I love that philosophy, and feel that with my extensive experience I am truly a "1=2" designer/production artist.
