Ideal Position:
I would be happiest free-lancing as a digital storyboard/concept artist/Flash animator. I also specialize in photo retouch/restoration.
Ideal Environment:
I'd like, if possible, to work from home using my own computer and/or traditional tools. I'm also comfortable working onsite at agencies/studios where I can interact directly with the creatives, if that's necessary.
Past Experience:
I've had my own business in the Dallas area as a free-lance graphic artist/illustrator since 1990. I've had clients from different platforms from all over the country - ad agencies, book publishers, authors, magazines/newspapers, animation studios, etc. I recently became proficient in Flash animation.
Currently:
I recently illustrated the book cover in full color for a graphic novel. I'm working directly with the author. It is the first in a series of six. I will also be illustrating the book interiors in black & white. This series will be for the young adult market.
Additional:
I am Mac based. My favorite digital application is Corel Painter assisted by Photoshop. I love my work and take great pleasure in pleasing my clients. I listen carefully to their needs and vision and translate those accurately to the virtual or traditional canvas. I have never missed a deadline.
