Ideal Position:
I enjoy a dynamic company that employs cutting-edge strategies and tries new approaches to solving problems or creating opportunities. I prefer to be a decision-maker, leader and motivator, but still like to be hands-on. My ideal position reports to the CEO or COO.
Ideal Environment:
I like a fast-paced, team environment. While I love working in jeans, I'm equally comfortable in a more formal setting. The key for me is the people. Good people working together create a good environment. As a team player, I enjoy working with others and motivating those around me.
Past Experience:
I've directed marketing programs during the best and the worst times, both equally challenging. My past positions have primarily been in the professional services industry, providing marketing strategies and direction for both law firms and Big 4 accounting firms. In addition, I have managed significant projects as an independent contractor.
Currently:
Most recently, I completed a low-budget renovation for a client during the worst of the economic downturn. My client's property closed 19 days from listing, netting him $20,000-50,000 more than if he had not made the investment. Also, I recently orchestrated a major annual event for a nonprofit that involved 14 committees, the attendance increased 20%.
