Creative Director
Available For:
Contracting, Short-Term Freelance.
Ideal Position:
Currently I am a lecturer at SMU's Temerlin Advertising Institute. I teach Art Direction, the Adobe CS4 programs, as well as Interactive Design & Advertising. I teach Tuesday and Thursday, which leaves the rest of my days to freelance. I'll work nights and weekends.
Ideal Environment:
A creative driven, friendly, fun and successful environment. One which strives for excellence, yet understands the ever-changing nature of people, clients and the industry. A company that believes in praise and encouragement to inspire great creative. One that values their employees.
Past Experience:
I have been a Creative Director for over 10 years, and most recently with a global marketing firm. Prior, I worked for an interactive agency. I have designed and have overseen numerous tv spots, print campaigns, microsites, landing pages, digital marketing assignments (including Flash and multimedia) and direct marketing programs.
Currently:
We needed to change the perception of the firm with our clients, prospective employees and even our own employees. I started by re-imaging our website, and in the end, re-imagined ourselves. The new site re-shaped the culture within our own walls. Traffic to the site increased 365% from 700 visitors a week to more than 2800.
Additonal:
I have been recognized as a visionary leader in start-up and turn-around business opportunities. Management experience encompasses the strategic positioning and development of advertising, retail and promotion and technological industries. Strengths include team leadership, innovative problem solving, brand development and producing results.
