Ideal Position:
Ideally, a managing creative director position in a fun work environment. A work group where the team is greater than the sum of its parts, and all team members are respected and comfortable offering ideas and solutions. Looking for excitement and high-energy with a Brand that's ready -- and willing -- to evolve.
Ideal Environment:
A fun culture that's still all about the business. I'm most productive when I'm with bright, engaging people who are comfortable bouncing ideas off each other. Competition and politics are ok, but not when they hinder the common goal of building the business and growing market share. Happy, engaged people are also a measure of success.
Past Experience:
Most recently, Sr. Creative Project Manager for ROP and special projects for a Fortune 500 company. Managed both staff and turnkey teams, and freelancers. Heavy concentration in core FSI and direct mail programs, partnering with merchants, print, production and traffic managers.
Currently:
Led a hand-picked team in recent re-branding efforts for several core programs including Black Friday FSI. A huge project with hundreds of pieces, we updated and retooled templates, developed a modern look, cleaned up photography. The result: Focused, easy-to-shop pages that were viewed as a great success by both merchants and creative leaders.
Additional
Skilled at budget control, contract negotiations and team building. Able to make decisions quickly, and am comfortable presenting concepts at all levels. I gain trust and respect quickly and people rally behind me, as they are invested in the end product. I deliver quality, within budget and by deadline, even when the deadline is a moving target.
