Ideal Position:
For me, the ideal comes down to anything where people are open to new ideas and excited to get started. Whatever the details of the project or client, the medium or the scope, a position with internal support and willingness to try new things leads to good work.

Buttoned-up or jeans and t-shirts, I've been in a range of environments. What matters to me more is the spirit of collaboration and openness. Great ideas can come from anywhere, anytime. Politics just get in the way. I don't mind working long hours, trading phone calls and emails when the result is the best it can be.

Past Experience:
I've always been a writer- it's what I love. Most recently I wrote for a prestigious New York performing arts institution, working in marketing, education and performance-related publications. I've also freelanced with a branding agency to create a high-profile brochure for a prominent conservation organization.

Currently:
Most recently, I worked on a high-profile brochure for a branding agency's not-for-profit client, serving as the sole writer on the project. The brochure was to be 12 pages of engaging copy, a soft-sell convincing large corporate donors to give while re-branding the client as a pragmatic leader. The client loved my copy, especially the president. Layout is pending.

I feel that I have the experience and the talent to adapt my work to whatever the job requires, from the voice I use, to the demands of the medium, to the target. Empathy, in the sense of being able to get into the heads of the target, no matter who they are, is the ace up my sleeve. And like you, I'm playing to win.
