Ideal Position:
I am seeking a full-time in-house goldmine with lots to sink my teeth into. I am looking for varied writing responsibilities including frequent chances to interact with people. A location within the Chicago city limits is a huge plus!! Mid-size firms with a laid back attitude and family atmosphere step to the front of the line.
Past Experience:
After more than a year in community journalism working as a news reporter, I stepped into marketing writing with enthusiasm. After only one year I have held rewarding copywriting positions at major national corporations, and gained valuable experience with many aspects of the business in an agency setting.
I may be young, but I'm smart, open and ready to work hard. I'm an excellent writer with a sense of humor who knows that teamwork is critical to success. Creativity, versatility, loyalty and lightheartedness are all important values.
Currently:
As one of only two in-house copywriters for a large e-commerce department I was responsible for handling copy needs for an e-commerce site with over 13 million unique visitors per month. I produced tight, effective copy for diverse site areas and needs, including advertising emails and landing pages, marketing email blasts, and welcome page ads.
