Consumer Public Relations Consultant with Corporate and Agency Experience

Ideal Position:
I desire a position as an Account Supervisor or higher at a PR agency or PR Director within a corporation. This position will have up to 25% domestic and/or international travel, as well as managerial responsibilities over staff and budgetary concerns.

I prefer a company culture that is relaxed, supportive, fun and challenging, a business casual atmosphere where employees really feel like a part of the big picture and are appreciated.

Past Experience:
I am a seasoned marketing professional with 16 years of experience in public relations, special events, marketing, media relations and multicultural PR. I have acquired contacts and skills in various industries including:  business, consumer, multicultural marketing, sports, entertainment and non-profits.

My skills and experience include writing press materials, pitching media, generating placements, conducting and accompanying clients on media tours and press conferences, and on-site supervision of media at client events, as well as supervising and training staff members. I am a creative, organized multi-tasker who is always cool under pressure.

Currently:
Most recently, I was Media Relations Manager at a PR agency, where I was responsible for the launch of a new contact lens from Johnson & Johnson.  I have also worked on national accounts in the nonprofit and financial services sectors.
