Ideal Position:
Prefer yearly contracts paying specified monthly amount for agreed-upon amount of editorial production. Write mostly about insurance matters, but I can also handle other business subjects. Working out of my home-office and working out at my gym.

Past Experience:
Have a mix of corporate communications and newspaper writing experience. For example, I was a sportswriter for the Marin Independent Journal in the 1970s, and the assistant vice president of communications for a savings and loan in the 1980s. Since 1991, I've been a freelance business writer with mostly insurance industry clients.

Currently:
I write insurance articles of varying length and subject material for clients such as Selective Insurance, Independent Agent magazine and Fireman's Fund. Story length varies by assignment. The "outcome"? I get a lot of repeat business.
