Ideal Position:
My ideal position is to work at a company that understands the importance of exact yet engaging copy will find an exceptional match with my skill set. From writing company profiles for web and print mediums to compiling e-newsletters, press releases and collateral materials for agencies and commercial real estate firms, I am seeking opportunities that allow my content to shine.

I function best in a creative, fast-paced, quasi-corporate environment. Past employers and clients have found me to be incredibly easy and flexible to work with from the inception of a project to drafting its final touches. Past Experience:
I have a diverse background in PR and journalism. Working on both sides of the field has given me a greater understanding of how the two co-exist. I have worked in the capacity of media relations, beat reporter, staff writer, assistant editor and associate editor for a Chicago-based commercial real estate magazine and its corresponding website.
Currently:
I served as Associate Editor of a respected commercial real estate journal in Chicago. Myself, along with one editor, generated and managed the content of the monthly, 60-page publication in the print and web capacity. Through weekly e-blasts, I kept industry leaders informed through compelling copy and accurate reporting of trends and statistics.
Additional Notes:
I'm a copy utility player with a flexible attitude. I can play every position from communications specialist (press releases, e-newsletters) to editor and senior writer (company profiles, bios/one-sheets). Some of my areas of expertise include retail, healthcare, LEED/green building, industrial and finance. I also have news and legal reporting experience.
