Ideal Position:
I would be interested in any type of production work: paging, templates, file prep, alts, or light design work. Short-term or long, on-site or off is fine. A big project would be great.

My ideal environment would have a creative atmosphere, and a less formal attitude. I especially like working in smaller firms, but can be comfortable in most any situation.

Past Experience:
I have been working as a production artist for 17 years. I have done all types of business and educational publications, from art books, to annual reports, to coffee-table books, and many textbooks-PE's, TEs, and all kinds of ancillary materials. I have also designed and produced a publication for a local museum, and various promotional materials.

Currently:
I recently worked on dropping out the background of 100 photos for an art book published by a museum of art. The images were very large (16" x 20"), the client was interested in a particular type of soft edge on the images, and they were very satisfied with the result.
