Ideal Position:
I would love to work in a small shop with 8-15 people. I feel the workspace then becomes more casual and creative. Collaboration becomes essential, which in turn I feel creates better work.
Ideal Environment:
I would love to work downtown in a cool, laid-back modern office. I think the workplace is essential in aiding the creative process. Though I'm capable of producing great work in a room with 4 white walls and tiled ceilings, I would prefer an environment that would inspire me.
Past Experience:
I've held two design internships, worked a year and half in in-house marketing departments and have done freelance here in Chicago at various firms and agencies over the past year. I've worked in offices with 7 people to offices with 400+ people and have extensive first-hand client experience.
Currently:
I recently held a contract position working with the team in developing new business pitch materials for a well known movie rental organization account. I worked alongside Creative/Art Directors in developing logos and graphic direction for the ad campaigns. My company recently won the pitch.
