Meeting Manager/Event Planner

Ideal Position:
I would prefer a permanent position as a meeting manager/event planner. I have experience with both associations and corporate accounts, so working for either would be fine. Some travel would be great too. Am looking for an opportunity that will allow me to showcase my best talents and experience, and represent my employer to highest standards.
Ideal Environment:
I am seeking a job that allows me to be passionate about what I do, represent my employer to the best of my ability, and work with a great team of co-workers in an environment of mutual respect. I have a great work ethic, a fantastic sense of humor, and a "glass is half full" mentality. I really enjoy working with like-minded people!
Past Experience:
I am a seasoned meeting professional. I have previously worked as a meetings manager, conference services manager at 4-star luxury hotels, and as an account executive managing group clients. I am CMP certified, and continue to grow professionally through participation in our industry organizations.
Currently:
My most recent project was a temp position for a national association as their meeting manager. During my time there, I worked on a number of projects which consisted of creating space reports according to contracted space, creating housing pick-up reports, and writing meeting specs for their upcoming annual meeting for 3000 people.

My work ethic is based on nothing more than to do a great job every day, be appreciated for my efforts, and represent my employer and fellow co-workers well in everything I do. Simply put, I believe I would be a great addition to any organization and team.
