Marketing Manager/Brand Manager

Ideal Position:
I am searching for Brand Management and Marketing opportunities focused in the Beauty/Wellness, Consumer Products, or Hospitality/Travel industries. Ideally, I would like to leverage my analytical and creative skills in cross-channel marketing and project management, while also managing junior staff.

I have extensive experience working in fast-paced corporate environments on the client and agency sides. In all cases I have been part of entrepreneurial, creative teams. Most importantly, I enjoy collaborative cultures that allow me to work with varied talent, while also growing independently and finding innovative solutions to old problems.
Past Experience:
I recently relocated from New York City to Chicago with over eight years of experience in Marketing and Advertising. I spent three years in Brand Management at a leading global beauty company, and five years working on global advertising at agencies in NYC. I also obtained my MBA from NYU-Stern School of Business in May 2007.
Currently:
As a Brand Manager for a major beauty brand, I was responsible for $25M of business in three distribution channels. I led a number of cross-functional teams on integrated product launches and oversaw three categories of products with a direct report. My largest franchise grew 6%, and my biggest launch exceeded sales goals of $450K in three months.
Additional:
I understand the inner workings of creative agencies, having been a part of the process myself, but I also grasp the business priorities from a product perspective, thanks to my time as a brand manager. My passion for marketing and innovation sets me apart from other candidates, and allows me to be a strong leader and partner.
