Ideal Position:
The ideal position would be in a collaborative business environment where I can positively impact the visibility, image and bottom line as a leader in development and management of integrated marketing communications deliverables across channels and media. Campaign manager, director. Writer, editor. Marketing, media relations, publications.
Ideal Environment:
I am looking for a collaborative environment where departments/employees work together, brainstorm when appropriate to reach common objectives. I am a team player as well as an independent professional who can take a project from start to finish. I am looking for core values: honesty, integrity, a business environment this is forward-thinking.
Past Experience:
In my most recent position, I managed a monthly flagship magazine, including, planning, writing, editing, acquiring articles, supervising freelancers and facilitating the issues through production. Previously, I founded and ran a boutique communications agency, was a PR director at the ABA and an account supervisor at a PR agency.
Currently:
As managing editor/communications specialist at the Emergency Nurses Association (38,000 members), I planned, wrote, edited, acquired articles, supervised freelancers and the design and advertising firms, facilitated through production. I wrote scripts/speeches for leadership, ghostwrote the executive director column, and wrote marketing copy.

My former employer said that I have "an incredible skill set." My strategic marketing thinking and writing range covers the complete spectrum of disciplines from public relations to promotional to editorial to speeches and collateral.
