Ideal Position:
I have print and web design and production skills and would like to work in a print production environment that might need some artwork translated to the web. I am an expert at juggling a variety of file formats and am quick to learn new software.
Ideal Environment:
I can work in either a corporate or casual environment. I've spent most of my time in non-profits, which tend to be a little of both. I'm mid-career as a graphic artist, so I may be a little more conservative.
Past Experience:
I've held a variety of roles in publishing, from management to production artist. I've designed and produced print publications and Web sites from conception to final product. I have mastered the current print publishing software and can navigate freely in cross-platform environments.
Currently:
I was responsible for print and accompanying web materials for events, programs and office collateral for Catholic Charities. Projects included program and ad books; brochures; postcards; ads; e-blasts; fliers; stationary; signage. My outstanding achievement was developing the concept and artwork for the branding of the Have a Heart campaign.
Additional:
I'm very good at rescue missions.
