Ideal Position:
Having experience working for a boutique ad agency, PR firm, apparel/ product manufacturers, and on my own, I feel at home in an array of environments. Due to a personal interest in inter-personal communications, and assessing new jokes to keep an attentive crew during meetings, being part of a tight-knit team would be most ideal.
Ideal Environment:
I thoroughly enjoy the procedure of taking projects from conception to production, while leading a team and managing schedules, budgets, and clients, as well as jumping into Illustrator or InDesign to be a part of the construction process. Having such flexibility is rewarding, and it's an environment in which I would thrive.
Past Experience:
After earning my Design and Photography degree while interning at a PR firm in Ohio, I escaped to the City of Angels. I spent 4 years growing taller in an agency, 2 years slaving with fashionistas, and most recently striving for pixel-perfect stars. I was diagnosed with homesickness thereafter, and was shipped eastward, this time to the Windy City.
Currently:
Working as a freelance Art Director and Designer at an apparel company, I had the recent opportunity of tailoring their 2011 ad campaign, dipping my paws into everything from creating the overall campaign tone, photo-retouching, to online and print ads, billboards and B2B collateral. It never gets old seeing my work 30 ft. tall in Times Square.
