Creative Retouching

Ideal Position:
I would most enjoy working on high end imagery, in a small group environment, where all the artists could benefit from each other's experience and strengths.
Ideal Environment:
Having been on both sides, I enjoy aspects of both the agency and prepress environments. On the agency side, there's the benefit of having a creative sit with me at any time. The prepress side gives the creatives somewhere to escape to, without as much competition for their attention.
Past Experience:
"I am a creative retoucher with over 24 years of production experience, and have worked in high level imagery for large and small advertising agencies on major brands since 1998.
I have also had second shift management responsibilities under a Group Creative Retouching Manager, coordinating and marking up images for the next shift."
Currently:
Most recently, I have been working as an image editor with several photographers, using Lightroom as well as Photoshop. My biggest job was working on motorcycle imagery for a retouching studio, and I have also been doing retouching and some package keylining for a small retail agency.
Additional:
I began my career as a comp artist and keyliner, both traditional paste-up work and digital assembly, for Leo Burnett via 2 independent studios, and got my start at a smaller business-to-business agency. I have extensive agency work, with thorough experience working on anything from motorcycles to cheesecake.
