Ideal Position:
The ideal position would be one that would allow me to draw upon all aspects of the various but related positions I've been involved in the past. At any given time your position is mostly in one area, however it is nice to be able to incorporate some of your other experiences when you can. It makes it a nice positive for you and your employer.
Ideal Environment:
My ideal environment is one where everyone is treated with professionalism and respect. I would like to work in a place where everyone knows their role and does it. A place where work is taken seriously and yet at the same time (being a creative), it can also be fun and enjoyable. A little fun in the mix goes along way. A place where the artist mind set is appreciated.
Past Experience:
I've been an Art Director, Graphic Designer, Production Artist, Art Department Manager, Account Representative, Sales and a Studio Owner. In each and every one of these areas I've always strived for excellence. I always found it interesting to come up with the best possible solution within the scope of the specific job or assignment and/or budget.
Currently:
In my most recent role of Art Director I worked primarily on the Agency's large retail account, which often required a very quick turnaround. The client would often change direction with virtually zero notice and expect to see new work almost instantly. To meet or exceed the objective/goal and have the client satisfied was very rewarding.
