Ideal Position:
My ideal position is one which involves medical or health writing for a professional or consumer audience. I like writing about all topics, such as infectious diseases, women's health, and mental health. I am interested in either freelance or full-time assignments.

Past Experience:
Most of my experience is in health or medical writing, particularly public health issues. However, I have written about infectious diseases, women's health, pharmacology, mental health, oncology, and other areas. I have been a freelance writer, an editor, and a managing editor.

I am a former licensed practical nurse (LPN), so I know medical terminology and patient care. I also am a four-time National Press Club Journalism Award winner for articles I wrote on AIDS, women's health, and antibiotic resistance.
