Ideal Position:
My ideal position is one where I would be based out of Charleston, SC and travel as needed, working as a publicist, media relations manager or PR manager. I also have a background in event management. Relocation is an option as well. I would enjoy work in variety of industries including fashion, entertainment, sports, travel or publishing.
Ideal Environment:
I would like to work for an organization with a positive and dynamic corporate culture. I appreciate companies who invest time in developing employees because I'm the type of employee always seeking to better myself in my field. I appreciate structure in an organization and also feel confident in growing along with an organization.
Past Experience:
I am a public relations professional with five years of experience in industries including fashion, publishing, and entertainment. Since graduating from in 2003, I have worked as a publicity manager, as a PR and special events manager for a high end retail department.
Currently:
I am currently freelancing for several clients including my previous employer, one the nation's leading publisher of local and regional history books.
Additional:
I am interested in working in a variety of different industries as I enjoy learning new businesses. I think quickly on my feet and have proven to be a successful negotiator.
