Ideal Position:
My ideal position would vary every day and would include all areas of marketing, including advertising and public relations, trade shows and event planning, training, collateral design and development and product management. I would be able to interact with customers and develop programs to increase both brand awareness and market share.
Ideal Environment:
Ideally, the best environment for me would be a challenging position within an international firm where my tasks would vary daily. I enjoy working within a group and prefer to be able to make sound decisions on my own. Also, I would like to have interaction with customers and outside sales personnel and travel on a limited basis.
Past Experience:
I am a marketing generalist. My past experience includes international marketing in high-end consumer durables and in technical equipment; trade show and event planning from small meetings to customer events of over 800; collateral development and production; database management; advertising and PR; and training.
Currently:
Currently, I am working in sales and product management and my main task is to increase sales in my product area. Currently, my sales goals are being met or are being exceeded, compared to others in my position at other company locations.
Additional:
I have language skills in German, French and Spanish and have worked international firms for over 17 years.
